The Waterford Padova pattern is an exquisite looking pattern with a beautiful & elegant design & a name that is most intersting. The name "Padova" is the name of a city in Italy with a history dating back to he year 45BC & is best know for its different chapels & paintings among other things but has no history of china being manufactured there. Whatever the reason the Waterford company decided to name the Padova china pattern "Padova" & if it has any connection to the ancient city of Padova we do not know, but regardless the Padova pattern is simply put a subtle & gorgeous looking pattern with a design sure to please anyone which is probaly why it is such a strong seller even though it has only been introduced to the market in 2004.
