What is Classic Replacements and what do you do?

 
Classic Replacements is a china matching service, also known as a replacement service. This means, say you would like to add pieces to your china or flatware service, but the manufacturer tells you that they've stopped making your pattern (design). Where do you find what you need? That's were we come in. You can check our online database or contact us  for information on your pattern and the pieces you need, and if we have it, you can order securely online or via the telephone. If we don't, you can ask us to look for it  and to be contacted when we get it.


We also BUY China, Crystal, Flatware & Collectibles from private individuals from all over the USA. You can bring it to us or ship it. Click the link for details.

How do you get your inventory?

Finding items that have been out of production for 20, 30, 40 and sometimes over a hundred years is not an easy task. We have dedicated buyers who scour auctions, estate sales, tag sales for the best items at the best prices. We also have independent suppliers who sell to us as well as many individuals who contact us when they decide to sell their private collections.


Since you buy your inventory from previous owners, is it still in good condition?

Absolutely. We do not sell any pieces that are chipped, cracked or have any defects at all. Everything we sell is guaranteed to be in excellent condition, anything below that standard will be so noted and the price will reflect accordingly. Condition is relative to the pattern as older patterns can have some minor wear due to age, but we are insistent on providing our customers with the best quality merchandise possible. We also do not sell any second quality merchandise.

 

Are your items replicas or reproductions? How about second quality?

 Absolutely not. We never, ever sell replicas or reproductions. All of our items our 100% genuine, guaranteed. We also do not sell any second quality merchandise on our website, only first quality top-notch dinnerware.

Do I have to buy a whole set or can I buy just the pieces I need?


You can buy just the pieces you need, be it 1 or a hundred, although we do occasionally offer beautiful china sets for sale.

Replacement china overall seems expensive, why is that?

The retired tableware market does have a reputation of being a bit pricey. but you've come to the right place. At Classic Replacements, we work hard to offer the lowest prices in the industry, often substantially so. Many have saved literally hundreds of dollars by buying from us, without compromising quality or service.


How do I order?

You can order securely online or by calling us at (845)-232-0160, where our sales associates will be glad to assist you.

Do you allow returns?

Yes we do. We want you to look at your newly acquired pieces and feel great. Otherwise send them back within thirty sixty (!) days, and we will exchange them or refund your money, whichever you prefer. Your total satisfaction is guaranteed at Classic Replacements. Full return policy details.

I cannot figure out what brand and pattern my china is, can you help?

Yes we can. In general some information is available on the back of the china, specifically the dinner plate. If that doesn’t help you simply email us a picture of the front and back of the dish, and we will get back to you as soon as soon as possible. Same goes for crystal and flatware.

Do you sell just discontinued patterns or active (current) patterns as well?


Yes, we sell many active patterns as well, often at a substantial discount off MSRP. So check out those as well for great deals.

What are your shipping rates?
