This St. James pattern was manufactured for 27 years by the Minton China company, based in the UK. It is a tribute to its designers creativity that this pattern can give such an impression of deep luxury and undertones of royalty using what is basically only a trim design. But it successfully pulls it off. During its active run and since, St. James has been able to meet the needs of those who want a little more than the standard gold trim such as Lenox Montclair but still want a tasteful and understated pattern.
Our favorite Minton St. James pieces are the soup bowl and saucer set as well as the oval vegetable bowl.
