This Blue Fluted Plain pattern has been manufactured since 1775 (!) by the Royal Copenhagen China company, based in Denmark. It's hard to encapsulate the rich and long history of the Blue Fluted patterns in just a few paragraphs. Designed by Arnold Kling and begun in 1775, there are two more versions of this pattern: Blue Fluted Half Lace and Blue Fluted Full Lace. The lace  in the othser patterns is in the border while this pattern features a smooth border. Each piece is individually created and hand painted.
