This Hancock pattern was manufactured for 21 years by the Lenox China company, based in the US. Lenox Hancock Gold (Not to be confused with with Lenox Hancock Platinum, the difference being the trim) is part of Lenox's Presidential collection, a group of patterns named after some of the presidents of the United States and bears a close resemblance to the Lenox McKinley china pattern. Lenox Hancock dinnerware is recognizable for it's classic, ivory Lenox background and Celtic knot pattern featuring raised enameled dots. It is amazing how much the sense of touch adds to our enjoyment of fine china and Lenox Hancock has just the right feel with the raised dots sprinkled on the border. Mixes and matches well with other similar Lenox patterns, especially the full-bordered accent plate.
Our favorite Lenox Hancock dinnerware are the coffee pot as well as the coffee mug.
