WEDGWOOD COLUMBIA BLUE AND GOLD CHINA - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

What you need to know about the Wedgwood Columbia Blue and Gold china pattern:

 

This pattern was first issued in 1978 and RETIRED in 1997. This gorgeous pattern is done on white bone china with a dark blue border that is decorated in gold with dragons and flowers, and is outlined in gold.

 

This pattern has a number of products that were produced.  Some to look for are:

  • Dinner Plate (10 3/4”), Salad Plate (8 1/8”), Bread & Butter Plate (6”), Leigh shaped Footed Cup & Saucer (2 3/4”)
  • Cup also comes in Peony shape (2 ¼”)
  • Dessert/Pie Plate (7”)
  • Square Salad Plate (8 ¼”)
  • The Rim Soup Bowl comes in 2 sizes, 8” and 9”
  • The Sugar Bowl comes in 3 Styles. Globe shaped (4”) and 146 shape (2 1/2”) and Open Sugar Bowl (3”)
  • The creamer comes in 2 styles. Globe Shape (3 ¾”) and 146 Shape (2 1/4” 8 oz.)
  • Oval Serving platters come in 4 sizes, 13”, 14”, 15” and 17”
  • Tureen and Lid
  • 12” Chop Plate
  • Squared Handled Cake Plate
