ROYAL DOULTON BILTMORE CHINA - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
What you need to know about the Royal Doulton Biltmore pattern:
John Doulton founded the England based Royal Doulton brand in the year 1815. The brand came with its Biltmore pattern in the year 1991 that remained active till 2008. The pattern has a sea green band with a golden trim. Diamond panels are also there on the rim.
This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:
- Dinner Plate (10 5/8”), Salad Plate (8”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 5/8”), Flat Cup & Saucer (3”)
- Accent Salad Plate (8”) is different from the salad plate as it has a center design
- Bread & Butter Plate (6 ½”) *This pattern has 2 sizes 6 5/8" and 6 1/2"
- Rim Soup Bowls come in 2 sizes 8 1/8" and 9"
- This pattern has 3 types of sugar bowls. A 3" footed sugar bowl, a 2 1/2" flat base sugar bowl and an open 2 1/2" footed sugar bowl
- This pattern has many platters. There are 2 types of oval serving platters a 13" and a 16" as well as as a large serving tray (11 1/4") and a handled cake plate (10 3/4")
- Oval Vegetable Bowl (10 3/4"”)
- Gravy Boat and Underplate. The underplate comes in 2 sizes 6 3/4" round plate and an oval one.
- Napkin Ring (2 1/4 oval)
- Vase 5 5/8"
- Frame (7" holds a 3 x 5 picture)
