This Petite Fleur pattern was manufactured beginning in 1983 by the Villeroy and Boch China company, based in Germany. A perennial favorite Villeroy and Boch pattern, Petite Fleur is a name for a small flower, basically a blossom. They are sprinkled all over this fine china pattern in colorful hues of red, green, blue and more. The thin red accent line and scalloped edges add just the right touch to the solid white background. Petite Fleur is well known for it's versatility, and it is used as often for daily and informal use as it is for special occasions. Another unique feature of this pattern is that it is made from vitrified porcelain, significantly enhancing it's strength and longevity and allowing it to be used safely in the dishwasher, microwave and even the oven! The heat resistant glaze developed by Villeroy/Boch repels grease and baked on foods and makes this china easy to clean. There are a huge variety of serving pieces and accessories in this pattern making this a collectors favorite and a brides delight. Villeroy & Boch china at it's best.
Our favorite Villeroy and Boch Petite Fleur pieces are the dinner plate as well as the dominating coffee pot.
