This colorful pattern was produced by Minton’s Ltd. for more than a decade. It features a bird atop a floral branch and surrounded by multi-colored floral sprays set against a white background.
Minton’s Ltd. was founded in 1793 by Thomas Minton. With England as its headquarters, its key products are earthenware and bone china. The company merged with Royal Doulton Tableware Ltd. in 1968. Royal Doulton was then taken over by the Waterford Wedgwood group of Ireland in January 2005. As of July 2, 2015, the entire group has been acquired by the Finnish company Fiskars Corporation.
Our favorite piece in this collection is the Salad Serving bowl. The floral design provides the perfect backdrop for a bowl of greens! We also like the teapot paired with the Flat Demitasse cup and saucer set – a fitting way to enjoy chamomile tea.
