WATERFORD GLENMORE CRYSTAL - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

What you need to know about the Waterford Glenmore Crystal pattern:

 

This pattern was designed and cut by the artisans at Waterford of Ireland.  They were inspired by the historic city of Glenmore, where the Annaghs Tower House was built over 500 years ago.

 

For stemware alone, Waterford owns hundreds of individual patterns.  Glenmore is just one of them.  Waterford has become synonymous with crystal and is known for its clarity and brilliance that adds elegance to any table.

 

Waterford Glenmore was produced from 1968 to 2017

 

This pattern has many pieces.  Some to look for:

 

  • Water Goblet (7”)
  • Fluted Champagne (7 1/8”)
  • Claret Wine (6 1/2”)
  • White Wine (6 1/4”)
  • Sherry (5 ½”)
  • Wine Hock (7 5/8”)
  • There are two different sizes in tumblers. 5 oz (3 ¾”) 10 oz (5”) and 12 oz (5”)
  • There are also some dinner service pieces. A luncheon plate (8 ¼”), Bread & Butter Plate (6”),  and Footed Dessert Bowl (3 1/8”)
  • Some unusual pieces are the finger bowl (2 3/8”), Salt Dip (2 ¾”) Punch Glass (5 ¼”)
  • Various Vases
