What you need to know about the Villeroy & Boch Amapola pattern:

 

Spanish for "poppy," the amapola is considered a symbol of wealth and contentment. With it’s Large Blue and Orange Poppies, theese gorgeous flowers are rendered beautifully in the Amapola dinnerware pattern by Villeroy & Boch, first produced in 1981 and discontinued in 2001, which looks gorgeous in both casual and formal table settings.

 

This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:

 

  • Dinner Plate (10 1/2”), Salad Plate (8 1/4”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 1/2”), Flat Cup & Saucer (2 3/4”)

  • The Sugar Bowl & Lid comes in 2 styles: One with Handle and One without, both are 2 ¾”

  • There are 2 sizes in Oval Serving Platter 14”, and 17”
