What you need to know about the Royal Doulton English Renaissance  pattern:

England based brand, Royal Doulton, came out with the English Renaissance pattern in 1963 and discontinued it in 1996. The pattern is simple yet classy at the same time. It has golden trim and a clear and simple center. The border has complex golden and green scrolls that enhance its beauty.

This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:

• Dinner Plate (10 5/8”), Salad Plate (8”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 1/2”), Footed & Saucer (2 5/8”)
• Luncheon Plate (9”)
• There are 2 sizes of Rim Soup Bowls, 8” and 9”
• Coupe Soup Bowl (7”)
• There are 2 styles of sugar bowls: Sugar bowl with lid (3””) and an open sugar bowl (2 3/4”)
• There are 2 sizes in Oval Serving Platter 13” and 16”
• There are 2 sizes of Creamers 5 ¼” 10 ounces and a mini creamer at 4 ¼” 6 ounces.
