What you need to know about the Lenox Montclair China pattern:

One of the more famous collections is the Lenox Presidential Collection. Not be confused with the patterns Lenox has made for the White House, the presidential collection is made for the public and is named after presidents and a few other founding fathers. Patterns in this collection are similar mostly in name only, since all they have in common is that the pieces all share the same shape. Actually, they’re also all pretty popular so that would be a common denominator as well.  Presidential, Standard, Platinum Trim goes well with a variety of other presidential patterns as well as many other Lenox patterns with it’s sophisticated platinum trim.  Produced from 1949 to 2004.

This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:

• Dinner Plate (10 5/8”), Salad Plate (8 3/8”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 7/8”), Footed Cup & Saucer (2 3/4”)
• There are 2 Styles of the Footed Cup and Saucer: (2 ¾” and 2 1/8”)
• Luncheon Plate (9 ¼”)
• The Sugar Bowl & Lid comes in 2 styles: (3 1/4”) and 1999 Shape (3 ¼”)
• The Creamer comes in 2 styles: (3 1/8 in, 8 OZ) and 199 Shape (3 3/4 in, 8 OZ)
• The Oval Serving Platter comes in Many Sizes: 13”, 15” 16” and 17”
• The are Several different sizes of Vegetable Bowls: 8” Oval, 9” Oval, 9” Round and a 99 shape 9” oval.
• There are 3 styles of the Gravy Boat: Gravy Boat with Attached underplate, Gravy boat and underplate (Relish dish) and a 99 Shape gravy boat and Underplate.
• Millennium Dinner Plate (10 5/8”)
• There are 2 styles of the Fruit/Sauce/Dessert Bowl: 5 ½” and 5 ¾” Flared
• Cigarette Lighter
