LENOX MCKINLEY CHINA - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
What you need to know about the Lenox McKinley China pattern:
This McKinley pattern was manufactured for 21 years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA. It was named after the twenty fifth president of the United States, William McKinley, as are all patterns in the Lenox Presidential series. Truly an understated, quietly elegant masterpiece, McKinley features an ivory background surrounded by a blue-gray border interspersed by blocks of enameled pearl white raised dots which are bracketed by gold Celtic knots. The border is what makes this pattern and the precious gold trim adds the final touches to its luster. Because of the Gold Trim we do not recommend putting this pattern in the dishwasher.
This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:
- Dinner Plate (10 1/2”), Salad Plate (8 1/2”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 1/2”), Footed & Saucer (2 7/8”)
- Accent Luncheon Plate (Wide Border, 9 3/8” either white dots, or black dots are available
- There are 3 sizes of Soup Bowls, 8 1/4” and 9 1/8” and a Soup/Pasta Bowl (9 1/8”)
- There are 2 styles of sugar bowls: Sugar bowl with lid (3 1/8”) and a 1999 Shape Sugar Bowl and Lid (3 ¼”)
- There are 2 styles of Creamers (3 1/8”) and a 1999 Shape (3 ¾”)
- There are 4 sizes in Oval Serving Platter 13” 1999 shape (13 ¼”), 13” (13 ½), 15” 1999 shape (15 ¾”) and 16”
- There are 2 styles of Gravy Boat: Gravy Boat and Underplate (Relish plate) and Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate
