LENOX APRIL CHINA - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
What you need to know about the Lenox April China pattern:
This April pattern was manufactured for 6 years (1982 - 1988 ) by the Lenox China company, based in US. Considering how short a run this pattern had while it was being produced it is interesting to witness its resurgence in the discontinued market. Sometime we don't realize what we have until it's gone, right? :). April is a well-chosen name as the flowers are Ivory Raised Floral of Lavender Blue Pink and hail the arrival of spring in soft colors and hues. A bit old fashioned, but who said that's a bad thing?
This pattern has a number of products that were produced. Some to look for:
- Dinner Plate (10 3/4”), Salad Plate (8 1/4”), Bread & Butter Plate (6 1/2”), Footed Cup & Saucer (3 1/8”)
- There are 2 styles of the Individual Fruit/Sauce/Dessert Bowl: Both 5 ¾” one design has the flowers on the inside and the other the flowers are on the outside (Design in/Design out)
- Sugar Bowl & Lid (3 1/4”)
- Creamer (3 3/8 in, 7 OZ)
- The Oval Serving Platter comes in two sizes: 13” and 16”
- The are 2 different Vegetable Bowls: 9” Oval and 9” Round
- Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate (Relish Dish)
- Footed Cream Soup Bowl and Saucer Set (2 Handled)
