This pattern has been manufactured since 1968 by the Waterford company. While some patterns choose the route of simplicity, Kenmare instead goes for a bold and heavy look with both curved and criss cross cuts as well as a faceted stem. This pattern is a good match for china or flatware sets that also share this bold look, but Kenmare can also be used to balance out more simplistic patterns. Of course, Kenmare works well as a standalone set as well, with enough details to easily catch the eye and a variety of angles that will make light dance.
