This Ulander Powder Turquoise pattern was manufactured for 81 years by the Wedgwood China company, based in UK. Eighty one years is quite a run for a china pattern. It's not difficult to comprehend why with this stunning pattern. To fully appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the pattern it must be seen in person. The rich, powdery, textured effect is achieved through hand-tippling the finish with a fine grain sponge. The basic Ulander design is consistent across all patterns and features gold and white clover-like shapes on the gold trim and was first introduced in the eighteenth century.
