This Stafford Platinum pattern was manufactured for 6 years by the Spode China company, based in the UK. A sister pattern of the more popular Spode Stafford Flowers pattern and very similar to the Spode Stafford White pattern, Platinum is as it's name suggests, silver in color. It was made for those who loved the shape, the delicacy of the raised dots and the elegance of the Stafford patterns but wanted to mix and match it with other designs of china. Unlike Stafford Flowers, the plain white center makes this pattern a perfect complement to many china sets while remaining a viable standalone set as well.
