If you’re into cottage or country themes, this collection is for you. It will surely brighten your table setting with its bright yellow color.
This pattern was made by Spode of England. Spode was founded in 1776 and is known for its wide range of tableware and cook ware. It has a product portfolio that appeals across generations. The brand was bought by the Portmeirion Group in April 2009. The Portmeirion Group is a significant force in the homewares industry with its 4 strong brands: Portmeirion, Pimpernel, Royal Worcester, and Spode. It is a market leader in high quality and innovatively designed tableware, cookware, giftware, and tabletop accessories.
The Spode Albany pattern originally came out in blue and white and was first introduced in the '90s (1790s, that is). It was reintroduced in 1999 with the addition of the bright yellow band. This collection can be used everyday and is also safe for use in the microwave oven.
Our favorite is the square accent luncheon plate - it’s so festive!
