Description: Royal Worcester could possibly be the oldest porcelain company in the entire world. It was founded in 1751 by John Wall and William Davis who developed a new way of producing porcelain. The company was known as the "Royal Porcelain Works" starting in 1788 after a visit from George III, and two more royal warrants were given to the company from the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1807 and 1808.

In 1976, the Royal Worcester company merged with Spode and in 2009 it was acquired by the Portmeirion Pottery Group.

Their most popular pattern is easily Evesham Gold, with its berries, fruits, leaves, and gold trim.
