This Canton pattern was manufactured for 18 years by the Royal Doulton China company, based in the UK. The discontinued Royal Doulton Canton pattern stands out from other china patterns in a most elegant way, with its soft grey border & verge & its muted floral design it has proved to be a very versatile pattern that works with many designs & is quite beautiful in its own right. This pattern is not typical of the Royal Doulton company as they usually lean to more bolder colors in their pattern designs like we see in the Royal Doulton Biltmore pattern among many others made by Royal Doulton.
