True to its name, this pattern takes inspiration from birds which is why this collection consists of pieces in the shape of birds (like the creamer, sugar bowl, and teapot). 

This collection was produced for 10 years by Royal Crown Derby of England – a company established way back in 1750 (268 years in operation as of this writing!).  The company is known for their decorative tableware and giftware.  The company is bent on always coming up with innovative and bold designs without deviating from its centuries-old craftsmanship and provenance.   

This pattern’s dark colors of blue and rust make it ideal for ornamental use though we like the coffee pot because the artwork rendition is subtle enough for daily use.
