This Riverdale pattern was manufactured for five years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA. The discontinued Lenox Riverdale pattern is part of the Lenox Cosmopolitan collection & looks quite similar to other patterns in the Cosmopolitan collection. The Lenox Riverdale pattern was manufactured for a shorter time then some other patterns by Lenox which are also part of the Cosmopolitan collection like the Lenox Charleston pattern to name one of many was manufactured for 26 years & contrast sharply with Lenox Riverdale which was only manufactured for 5 years. Although Lenox Riverdale was only in production for 5 years, it is a fairly popular pattern.
