This Pine pattern was manufactured for 26 years by the Lenox China company, based in US. It's been a while since this pattern has been discontinued and Pine is remarkably still going strong. It's hard to put a finger on it as to why, but the market never lies. People seem to like the gentle reminder of the outdoors personified in the cones and needles motif. Serving pieces especially match well with other plant themed patterns such as Lenox Harvest.
