Lenox Windsor is a name that was actually used twice (for two patterns). The first time was for this pattern which was produced from 1915 to 1974; and the second time was for a pattern that featured a floral motif and which was produced from 1939 to 1948. The gold trim on these patterns means they are not safe for use in the microwave oven.

This pattern was manufactured by Lenox Corporation of USA, which has been in the business since 1889 and is known for its expert artistry in fine tabletop and giftware (china, crystal, and metal gifts).  Their settings are used in no less than the White House while some of their works are also on display in the Smithsonian Institution as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

We like the gravy boat with attached underplate because of its flower-like features.
