It is said to be the Ambassador collection and true enough, its elegant design is only fit for VIPs. This collection has been in existence since 1989 and was produced for 7 years (from 1986 to 1996). Because of its gold band, this elegant dinnerware is not safe for use in the microwave oven.
This setting was manufactured by Lenox Corporation, which has been in the business since 1889 and is known for its expert artistry in fine tabletop and giftware (china, crystal, and metal gifts). Their settings are used in no less than the White House while some of their works are also on display in the Smithsonian Institution as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Our favorite is the dainty Lenox Richelieu Court Footed Cup and Saucer Set – it takes drinking coffee or tea to the next level!
