This Ming Birds pattern was manufactured for 46 years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA. The Ming Birds pattern is one of the Lenox company's earlier patterns made, considering the company was founded in 1889 & the Ming Bird pattern was introduced 28 years later in 1917. The Lenox Ming Birds pattern is a quite interesting pattern featuring an exquistely designed border with beautiful scrollwaork & featuring two different birds. The center of the pattern has an intresting looking tree showing some gorgeous flowers in full bloom and several butterflys, all of this is set on Lenox's classic cream colored background. Ming Birds is not your typical Lenox Pattern and looks quite diffrent from some other ones such as the Lenox Autumn or Lenox Sand Dune Platinum patterns which does have the same cream colored background but the similarity stops there.

Our favorite Lenox Ming Birds pieces are the oval vegetable bowl as well as the cup & saucer set
