Haverford is a town in Pennsylvania, USA.  It is a community known for its wealth and schools.  And this is the inspiration of Lenox Haverford Hall pattern.  Rich, formal, serious – all of these characteristics are embodied in this collection.

Haverford Hall pattern was produced for more than 12 years. It has a thick rim that is encrusted in 24-karat gold, and this makes it unsafe for use in the microwave oven.

This pattern was manufactured by Lenox Corporation of USA, which has been in the business since 1889 and is known for its expert artistry in fine tabletop and giftware (china, crystal, and metal gifts).  Their settings are used in no less than the White House while some of their works are also on display in the Smithsonian Institution as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

We love the footed demitasse cup and saucer set with its gold bands and handle – a sophisticated way to serve coffee or tea.
