This Kingsley pattern was manufactured for twenty five years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA.  The discontinued Lenox Kingsley china pattern was in its heyday an extremely popular patter with a design that was very sought after in the 1960s & 1970s. The design found on the Kingsley pattern is extremely elegant & beautiful but sadly not that popular on china patterns now. The thick mint green border on the Lenox Kingsley pattern is a bit outdated for someone seeking a more modern pattern from Lenox like the Brookdale pattern or to go even more updated a pattern like Lenox Moonspun. both of the patterns mentioned focus more on the design in the center of the pattern & less on a richly colored border like the Kingsley pattern has.
