This Courtyard Platinum pattern was manufactured for 11 years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA. Lenox Courtyard Platinum is a simple yet elegant looking pattern with scrollwork on its rim. Lenox just recently discontinued the Courtyard Platinum pattern in 2009 after having manufactured it for eleven years making it a much more recent pattern then some other patterns by Lenox such as the Lenox Blue Tree which has not been made in thirty seven years. Lenox Courtyard Platinum does bear a strong resemblance to some other pattern like Lenox Moonspun which bears a strong resemblence with its similar plain background and white/cream colored scrollwork although it is in higher demand then the Courtyard Platinum pattern perhaps due to the fact that it was manufactured for a longer period of time.
