This pattern was created by Haviland of France. Haviland was founded in 1842 by American David Haviland in Limoges, FranceIn 1890, David's son Theodore took over. The Haviland company has since been overseen by grandson William Haviland, and great-grandson Theodore Haviland II.

A prolific manufacturer, it is estimated that there are as many as 60,000 Haviland porcelain patterns. The company has also serviced the White House on several occasions.

The company has never ceased to improve, and has been modernizing their factory without abandoning its ancestral know-how. Known worldwide as a manufacturer of Limoges porcelain, the company now also produces silverware, crystal, and giftware in addition to porcelain.

This collection’s dainty design makes it ideal for everyday use.

Our favorite is the Dessert / Luncheon Plate for its detailed execution of this pattern.
