This Citation Gold pattern was manufactured for 8 years by the Lenox China company, based in the US. The currently discontinued Citation Gold flatware pattern was designed off of the same china pattern with similar pattern lines this pattern looks quite elegant & blends perfectly with its matching china pattern. Although this pattern has a matching china pattern it also works well with other china patterns. The Lenox company has quite a few flatware patterns that have sister china patterns like the Lenox Kelly Gold flatware pattern for example. While Lenox has a lot less flatware patterns then it does china, they have been consistent in the regard that they are all quite elegant like their china & adds a touch of class to any table it is being used upon.
