This Powerscourt pattern was manufactured for approximately 35-40 years by the Waterford Crystal company, based in Ireland, and like all Waterford patterns is never "officially" discontinued. For the many years that Powersourt was active, this fine crystal line was the premium of all Waterford's crystal patterns. It features a cut, full-bodied criss-cross design making it highly reflective and elegant. A distinguishing feature of this pattern is it's weight. Compared to many crystal pattern, Powersourt weighs a lot, up to a pound per glass! This makes it sturdy and resistant to chips and breaks, ensuring it's longevity. It is so popular that it tend to be sold as soon as we receive it in stock, making us wonder what caused Waterford to discontinued this line at all. The success of the crystal pattern spawned a line of china and flatware as well.

Our favorite Waterford Powerscourt Crystal pieces are the wine goblet pieces as well as the 12 oz. flat tumbler.
