This Ballylee pattern was manufactured for approximately 20 years by the Waterford Crystal company, based in Ireland and is still available by special order from Waterford with the standard six month to year long wait. Ballylee marks somewhat of a departure in style from the normal Waterford heavyweights such as Lismore and Powerscourt. Those tend to have heavy, bunched together diamond cuts while this pattern has wider, looping oval cuts. Nonetheless brilliant, stunning and elegant it is.
