This Palatia pattern was manufactured for 21 years by the Wedgwood China company, based in England. The discontinued Palatia pattern has a design that brings to mind the days of Greek empire with its Greek key pattern also known as a Greek fret as its border. this design has been found by archaeologist on pottery found in ancient Greece so Wedgwood Palatia is not the first pattern to feature this unique design as pottery makers thousounds of years ago also featured it on their items. While Wedgwood does have some other patterns also featuring this design such as the Wedgwood Asia pattern, they do not limit themselves to it exclusively but rather have a wide & varied range of designs as can be found on patterns suchs the Wedgwood Queen Of Hearts pattern or the Wedgwood Florentine Black pattern,as can be seen from the above mentioned patterns Wedgwood has a design sure to please anyone no matter thier taste or prefernce. Wedgwood Palatia proved to be a very popular pattern while it was being manufactured & still is quite sought after as we can see from the amount of demand we get here at Classic Replacements for it.

Our favorite Wedgwood Palatia pieces are the dinner plate as well as the teapot
