This Oberon pattern has been active since 1993 & is manufactured by the Wedgwood china company based in the UK. The Wedgwood Oberon pattern is a timeless classic even thogh it is relatively new when you consider how long Wedgwood has been making china for. The border on the Oberon pattern has a Greek key scroll although it is not a full scroll like you find in the Wedgwood Asia & Palatia patterns but it does add that classic look to the Wedgwood Oberon pattern. The Oberon pattern is one of the newer patterns by Wedgwood & has an intretsing twist to it, some of the place setting pieces have a different design then others, for example usually a dinner, salad & bread & butter plate will have the same design, but in this pattern the salad plate & the cup & saucer have a floral design (they do offer a salad plate without the floral design). While it is intersting & beautiful looking  a design like that may not be for everyone.
