This Edme pattern has been manufactured since 1908 by the Wedgwood China company, based in the UK.Wedgwood began production of Edme in the early twentieth century and it continued to be one of it's consistent bestsellers throughout the century. In the early 2000's after over a century of production, Edme was discontinued. Demand for it was so strong that Wedgwood brought it back within a few years with some minor changes and updates. Edme is classic white with the ribbed look adding a "colonnade" effect. It is a pattern which spans ans crosses time, taste and temperament.
