This Cornucopia pattern has been manufactured since 1995 by the Wedgwood China company, based in England. The Wedgwood Cornucopia pattern is an elegant pattern & has a superb design which is sure to make anyone's table look fabulous. The Cornucopia patterns pieces are designed in the same manner as many other Wedgwood patterns & have the same shape, for example the covered vegetable bowl in the Cornucopia pattern has the same shape as the covered vegetable in the Kutani Crane pattern just list one of may pieces. Not all Wedgwood patterns pieces have the same design & shape as the Cornucopia pattern though as you can see by looking at the Wedgwood Agincourt Green pattern which features an altogether different shape for its covered vegetable bowl among other pieces. The Cornucopia pattern may have very well pulled its name from the mythological Cornucopia horn which symbolizes abundance & prosperity.
Our favorite Wedgwood Cornucopia pieces are the salad plate as well as the two tiered serving tray.
