Audun-le-Tiche is a town in northeastern France, close to the border of Germany, where Villeroy & Boch has its headquarters. The company actually launched this series of patterns on their 250^th anniversary in 1999.  Like most Villeroy & Boch collections, this one is safe for use in the microwave oven.

This pattern was created by Villeroy & Boch, a large manufacturer of ceramics based in Germany. The company has been in existence for 268 years and has the distinction of being served in the many banquets and dinners aboard the Titanic and even the Orient Express.  The Villeroy & Boch premium brand stands for functionality and durability without sacrificing aesthetics that makes it a delight to use everyday. 

We like the candy box for its vintage look! 

Also available in Ferme and Fleur. Chasse means chased, Ferme means firm, and Fleur means flower.  There’s a story formed by the Audun series and it would do you well to collect all three!  You will not have difficulty mixing and matching as they complement each other perfectly.
