This pattern traces its inspiration from an English town, which is famous for its fruit-bearing trees. Vale, after all, is another term for valley.

This pattern was manufactured by Royal Worcester of UK.  Royal Worcester was established in 1751 but was purchased by the Portmeirion group in April 2009.  It is now under the same umbrella as Pimpernel and Spode brands.

With a collection that is marked safe for use from the freezer to the oven (conventional and microwave) and even up to the dishwasher, its fruity design will definitely give a fresh vibe from your kitchen to your dining room!

This pattern was in production for more than 3 decades and its design has been rendered across several pieces, which is just a joy to collect.  But if we must choose one, our favorite would be the sugar bowl which is shaped like an apple.  It complements the fruity accents of this pattern.
