This Clarendon pattern was manufactured for 24 years by the Royal Doulton China company, based in the UK. This china pattern is a classic Royal Doulton style featured in Royal Doulton Biltmore and others. Simple, stark white background with a thin gold verge, bordered by a circle-centric agua/gold motif. This let's the food (and conversation) do the talking while adding elegance in an undertone to the meal atmosphere. This pattern was made to be hand washed, since putting it in the dishwasher will most likely ruby off much of the gold and the design.
