This Palermo Green pattern was manufactured for 16 years by the Richard Ginori 1795 company, based in Italy. Palermo, named after one of Italy's premier provinces and cities, is typical of Ginori's designs at the time of it's manufacture. Typically elegant that is. The shimmering, translucent background is starkly contrasted with the 1/4" solid green border capped off by the DNA-like twisted gold rope edge. Catering to a certain style and design preferences, Palermo Green has many fans who have pursued it strongly since it's discontinuation in 1998.
