This Morning Jewel pattern was in production for 9 years by the Noritake China company, based in the US. The Noritake Morning Jewel pattern is an excellent pattern for everyday to slightly upscale use. Noritake makes a wide variety of china suited for all different uses, this pattern is more to the high end of their patterns. This pattern has a beautiful design that is very well suited for the fall season, the tinted colored rim with its arrangements of leaves & flowers gives off that sense of the fall/holiday season. The variety in Noritake patterns can be seen when comparing it to other patterns by them like the Noritake Sterling Cove pattern which is quite different from the Morning Jewel pattern.
