This Grasmere Blue pattern was manufactured for 24 years by the Minton China company, based in England. The Grasmere Blue pattern is a classic Minton pattern in design & styling similar to some other patterns such as the Minton Bellemeade pattern which shares its similar floral design and cream colored background. Minton also manufactures patterns with a sharper & more distinctive design such as the Minton St James  patterm which has the same cream colored background but a simpler & sharper design.
