This Sand Dune Platinum pattern was manufactured for eight years by the Lenox China company, based in the USA.  The discontinued Lenox Sand Dune Platinum china pattern is a subtle looking pattern with a very straightforward looking design of a thick platinum rim on a white/cream colored background with scroll work carved in to the pattern as opposed  to having it painted on like many other patterns. The Sand Dune Platinum pattern can be mixed & matched with several other Lenox patterns like Lenox Erin & Erica which have the same design as the Sand Dune Platinum pattern only it is painted on & not engraved in the china like we see in the Sand Dune pattern.
