This Rutledge pattern has been manufactured since 1939 by the Lenox China company, based in the US. For a pattern to be around since 1939! it must have something special. As a matter of fact, Rutledge may be the oldest Lenox pattern still in production. What's the secret of its timelessness? We believe it is one word: cheer. This pattern with it's bright and colorful enamel flowers is second to none when it comes to displaying the colors of spring. The fluted rim with it's thin accentuation of 24k gold and luxurious enameling are icing on this fabulous cake. Who knows how long Rutledge will last? Maybe forever, it certainly deserves it. Lenox Temple Blossom is a close cousin of this pattern but is discontinued.
Our favorite Lenox Rutledge pieces are the demitasse cup and saucer set as well as the creamer.
