This Hancock Platinum pattern was manufactured for 11 years by the Lenox China company, based in the US. This pattern is part of the Lenox Presidential collection & is an extremely elegant & formal looking pattern as one would imagine it to be in order for it to be worthy of being part of the Presidential Collection. There are several other patterns by Lenox which are part of this collection & as reviewed in detail on Classic Replacements blog. This pattern has a sister pattern which is the one made originally for the collection called Lenox Hancock & is identical besides for the coloring which is gold & not platinum as the Lenox Hancock Platinum pattern is.
