This Lancaster pattern was manufactured for 29 years by the Adams China company, based in the UK. The Adams company is currently owned by the Wedgwood china company & was purchased by them in 1966. Although this pattern was really made by Wedgwood it still reflects its own unique design & individuality & is noticeably different then many Wedgwood patterns although it may resemble some of them. This pattern brings a unique look to the table with its stark gleaming white background & glossy border design making it a pattern which is very pleasing to look at & use. The shape of the Adams Lancaster pattern does resemble the Wedgwood Flying Cloud pattern showing the closeness of the two companies.
Our favorite Adams Lancaster pieces are the oval vegetable as well as the creamer.
